COURSE OUTLINE

Our Job Shadowing for English Teachers Course is designed to help English language teachers to develop their skills by observing a range of methodologies in action. By observing our trainers in the classroom, participants will have the opportunity to analyse new practices and approaches. In follow-up workshops, participants are invited to discuss what they have seen, and to explore ways to enhance their own teaching skills. The course will provide an overview of the latest methodologies in teaching languages, explore new materials, and discuss how to make creativity a cornerstone of your teaching practice. You will work on some lesson materials personalised to your own teaching context which will be presented at the end of the week.

Reviews

This was the second time I’d taken a course with the Atlantic. All of the aspects met my expectations: the teacher and her way of delivering the information were marvellous, I enjoyed her friendliness and level-headedness. The other students in my group were really nice people, we exchanged our numbers and sent each other some of the photos. Our everyday lunches together are unforgettable.

Happy to have met and worked with people of all ages, in a lively atmosphere, motivating and challenging context.

Barbara Cinti

Istituto Comprensivo Torgiano-Bettona, Perugia

Participating in the course allowed me to acquire knowledge of new teaching methods, which I will certainly use in the teaching process during my classes. The methods I have learned will allow me to activate students during classes. It was important to meet people from other countries and exchange experiences in the field of good teaching practices.

We had a constant opportunity to intervene and speak, something we all demanded at the beginning of the course. Simply perfect. Thank you very much!
