How much are your courses?

You will find prices on our course pages and in our Price List.

Our Professional Development or Erasmus+ Staff Mobility courses cost €525 if you choose a 6-day programme with 1 full-day excursion or €475 if you choose the 5-day programme without excursion.

Our courses are open to all. Although many of our participants take part through applying for Erasmus+ Key Action 1 grants, our courses are suitable for everyone.

The Organisation ID is a unique number assigned to organisations participating in the Erasmus+ programme.

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth, and sport in Europe. Eligible participants can avail of funded opportunities to take part in courses, exchanges, and cross-country projects.

Staff from all education sectors are eligible to apply for Erasmus+ grants and participate in training courses as part of Key Action 1 or collaborative projects as part of Key Action 2.

Primary, secondary school and adult education staff can apply for courses to improve their English language skills, develop English teaching skills for the classroom or prepare to teach other subjects in English to students whose mother tongue isn’t English.

Third-level academics, teachers, and researchers can also benefit from the Erasmus+ programme by applying for Staff Mobility grants. They can participate in English language courses or programmes designed to develop academic writing, presentation or teaching skills.

Third-level administrative staff are also eligible for Staff Mobility grants to attend training programmes to develop English language communication, business or team-building skills.

Yes, the courses costs can be covered with an Erasmus+ training mobility grant.

All our courses are available as a 6-day programme which includes a full-day excursion on the Sunday before the course, or a 5-day programme if you prefer not to do the excursion.

The course fee for tuition and materials is 80.00 per day which can be covered by the course fee awarded with the Erasmus KA1 grant: €80 per day.

Administrative and Organisational support costs €75 – €125 depending on the chosen programme. This covers full organisational and administrative support from first enquiry through to booking confirmation and arrival, a full social and cultural programme, on-going support and assistance throughout the week of the course, and course certification.

We don’t provide accommodation or meal services. In our experience participants like having the freedom to choose their own type of accommodation based on budget and personal preference. Galway offers a wide range of accommodation choices from B&Bs, guesthouses and hotels, to self-catering apartments or university student lodging which is available during the summer months. We cooperate with many local accommodation providers who offer discounts to Atlantic students booking a minimum 7-night stay. Please contact us to request our Accommodation Partners List with discount/promo codes. 

Regarding meals, Galway is full of restaurants catering for all budgets. Our local café offers an attractive discount to Atlantic students looking for a nice lunch option. 

If you have been approved for a grant you can register for your preferred course online by completing and submitting our Registration Form. You will then receive an email with a  booking confirmation and details about how to pay.

Yes you can register for a course even if you don’t have grant approval yet. We will issue  a Letter of Invitation and hold your booking until you contact us to confirm.

Yes, when you are registering for a course you can upload your Staff Mobility Agreement and it will be signed by our Director and returned to you by email. Alternatively, you can email your Mobility Agreement directly to contact@atlantic.ac and it will be signed and returned to you.

Yes, everyone can register for a course. If you are interested in any of our courses, you are welcome to take part as an individual and pay the course fees yourself.

Yes, if you have a minimum of 4 interested participants, we can organise a course week at any time throughout the year. We can provide any of the courses listed in our schedule or if you have specific requirements we are happy to provide a customised course. Please get in touch to discuss possibilities.
